After some thought I figured I would determine the amount of time the gas valve is actually on and then do a bunch of math to figure out how much it costs per cycle.
The dryers are leveled on each of the coners with a bolt, type level. Depending on the slope of the floor you could have up to an inch of gap below the dryer.
Adding a Fill Line to the front of the dryer door shows customers how to get the best dry for the least money, prevents overloading and wrinkling of clothes and reduces the amount of dryers that one customer will use.
On some of the older models a contact for the motor starter on the circuit board fails and the drum will not turn. The repair is easy enough if you have soldered or you could probably get a local computer repair shop to solder it for you.
An issue I have found on some of the sensors is that some older type rugs and blankets will come apart in the dryer and build up on the sensor. This works like a blanket to keep the heat out and the dryer will run hotter to try and maintain the set temperature.
