Today in 1885 the American Telephone and Telegraph Company was founded. The company is now known as AT&T
Wikipedia currently lists their products as “Long Distance”.
A lot has changed since Mr. Bell invented the telephone and kicked things off and many people don’t even have a landline anymore.
Do you still have a landline in your home?
We still have one just in case we need to call and make sure something will actually ring in the house.
When I was a kid we had a party line and shared it with a few of the neighbors.
What is today’s equivalent of the party line? Facebook? Blogs?
