Step Six To Proving You Are An Expert -Using The Interview
Use the experience of the interview or speaking event discussed in the last two posts and talk about it. Explain the preparation you did beforehand, the details of the interview, what questions were asked that didn’t make it into the final cut.
You may even realize that some of your answers were not as clear as you like to you can provide more information and details.
If the interview is posted online anywhere link to it in your blog. You also want to post a comment during the interview thanking the publication for the experience and linking to your blog for more details.
Previously I have done some interviews with a local newspaper (Anniston Star) and a national trade publication (Planet Laundry). I have also provided comments on other articles and even did a phone interview for an Internet-based phone service.
I have used these in Linkedin and on my websites as well.
