I have taken a lot of marketing courses and I have been able to implement parts of them in my business. There have been some results that were positive and made a difference. Others I just could not seem to understand how they could apply to my main brick and mortar business.
I always tried to use a traditional spend vs results type marketing. I have used billboards, radio, social media, TV, magazines and all the rest. Did any of these increase my business? I’m sure some of them did but as the old saying goes “Half the marketing works I just don’t know which half.”
I signed up with this program for a few reasons.
The first one being the cost. $25 a month for a blogging platform that ranks in the top 250 websites in the world.
Two-Unlimited number of individual blogs. These are completely separate, not just a different “folder” but you can run a blog on hairstyles and one on performance cars and none of the parts mix.
Three- The training. The amount provided by the main blogging platform and the additional, step by step training provided by my team.
Four- The guys in this video who founded the company use the same platform for their businesses.
Five- Once I was involved and really understood the support and training and motivation behind the company there was no going back.
Initially, you look at some of the training steps and say “Why am I doing this? I don’t have time for that. How will this make a difference in my business?
We have all had training our whole lives. When you were a kid you were told to turn the lights off when you left the room. If you asked why your parents told you “It costs money”. You had no idea what they meant but you did it anyway. Years later when you started paying the bills you understood why you shut the lights off.
Right now you are wondering how this program will help you build a business or increase your business. I can go on and on about how people want to deal with real people and know there is a person behind a company, they really don’t care they can’t see them but they want to communicate. This system provides the platform to do that and the training to make it work.
